23 May
Spica is 4 finger-widths to the moon’s left, and Saturn is 2 fist-widths to its upper right.

24 May
Spica is 3 finger-widths to the waxing gibbous moon’s upper right.

26 May
Low in the southeast this evening, the nearly full moon is to the upper right of the head of the Scorpion. The Scorpion’s body is below the horizon at sunset. As the night passes, Scorpius rises above the horizon and travels along the southern horizon until dropping below it before dawn.

27 May
Full moon at 2307 UT.

29 May
Low in the southwest before dawn, the moon is midway between Antares, the heart of Scorpius, and Sagittarius, the Teapot constellation.
